Finance Domain wants readers to be able to rely on the factual integrity of its articles. When a credible material error is identified, we aim to review the evidence and correct the article promptly.

How corrections are handled

Minor spelling, grammar or formatting fixes may be made without a correction note. If a factual error could materially change a reader’s understanding, the article should be corrected and, where appropriate, include a clear note describing the change.

Updates

Financial information can change. Updating an article to reflect a new rate, rule, fee, product term or official announcement is an update rather than necessarily a correction, provided the earlier statement was accurate when published.

Report an issue

Readers can use the Contact Us page and select the editorial corrections option. Please identify the article, the statement in question and any reliable supporting source.
