How corrections are handled
Minor spelling, grammar or formatting fixes may be made without a correction note. If a factual error could materially change a reader’s understanding, the article should be corrected and, where appropriate, include a clear note describing the change.
Updates
Financial information can change. Updating an article to reflect a new rate, rule, fee, product term or official announcement is an update rather than necessarily a correction, provided the earlier statement was accurate when published.
